It was a nice Fourth this year, complete with fireworks, a barbecue, and the parade. We're hoping the kids will be able to stay up past dark next year to enjoy real fireworks, but the few sparklers and twirly flowers we set off in the front yard (finally legal after 20 years!) in bright daylight seemed to satisfy Anderson all the same.
